My Wonderful Wife, my Treasure, my Love and Life.
She was always being admired for her kindness and HONESTY and she wasn’t born with HEAVENLY compassion, but acquired it throughout her life.
I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

My treasure,my wonderful wife, my love and life.
Outwardly she may have appeared to be a very stern person, but if you needed some understanding, she often, could provide a GENTLE presence of comforting and reassurance.
Everyone always enjoyed visiting with her for a cup of tea or a wonderful dinner prepared by her as not only was she a great cook, but she was very polite and GRACIOUS and had great patience.
I do miss all that so very much and long to be with her again forever.

Her FAITHFUL unaltered love was cause to make us a very happy husband and wife.
She, often, was very FUNNY and could keep small children amused for hours.
She made my life so full and it’s no wonder why I miss her so, and long to be with her again forever.

My Treasure, Love, and Life.
If anyone would like to know how one might live their life as they ought to,all they need do is look at how this wonderful woman lived her life.
Going through so much strife, obstacles and misfortunes, she rose above them all providing loving care for so many others, putting others before herself and sharing her self acquired knowledge and creativity with those around her. The most unselfish person I have ever known
I need to be with my Angel in Heaven as then I can hold her and wish her a very “Happy Birthday”.
It’s no wonder why I miss her so and long to be with her again forever.

It was always DELIGHTING to be in her company, a pleasurable conversation was forthcoming. I am so fortunate to have such a DEVOTED wife. She raised her family, ran a household, (sometimes without my being there), and never put her needs before those she loved or cared for.

My Treasure, my Love, my Life.
Her inner beauty frequently escaped and came shining through, revealing the most unselfish, caring, creative woman I have ever known.
She was always ACHIEVING every endeavor she attempted. AFFECTIONATE, especially outwardly where babies or young children were concerned. They truly loved her.

Christmas was always her favorite time of the year.
She always made it so special for, not only for her children , but also for their friends. It was a happy and joyful meeting place. For many years after our children were out on their own some of their friends would stop by on Christmas Eve and day.
Evidence of her love for children and Christmas shining through.

My Angel in Heaven.
She loved nature as evidenced by her home decor. Nature is everywhere in her home including earth tones as her color scheme.
Included in the love of nature is its animals. One example is, a neighbor found a baby raccoon that its mother had abandoned. She came to Ann not knowing what to do. Ann, right away, fashioned a bottle and nipple, fixed a formula with warm milk and began nursing it. That raccoon grew to 65 pounds.
Again, Anns love has shown through.
I miss her so and long to be with her again forever.

My Treasure, My Wife, My Heart, My Life.
She truly loved children and they loved her. One neighbor’s daughter was going to have her Holy Communion and she couldn’t fit into her dress. The daughter told her Mother, “ Mrs. Bryce will fix it for me”. So, Ann altered it and the young girl beamed.
Another neighbor had a son that was forever hurting himself and the majority of the times he would, cryingly, knock on Ann’s door for attention to his injuries. These are only a few examples of her love.
You can now see why I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

To my Angel in Heaven
Today I want you to know how much you are loved and remembered.
The 23rd was Juls and Alexs wedding day that you so much wanted to be at.
They made sure that you were there if only in spirit. Juls had a picture of you in the suit inside pocket over his heart. Alex had a pin made with your picture in it which Cindy attached to her bouquet. They also had your picture on display. It was announced, to everyone that Alex’s wedding band is the ring that you had previously given to her.
So you can see that your caring and unselfish ways became a part of your grandchildren’s character.
I miss you so and long to be with you again forever.

My treasure forever.
We did everything together and one of many things is that whenever changes or additions to our home was done, she wouldn’t leave me to do it alone. She would say, to me, you do the grunt work and I’ll be the Go-fer.
Wallpapering- I would do the pasting and hanging while she would clean the over pasting on the board. By the way- she invented a device similar to a hod used by brick masons, to hold the wallpaper border to facilitate applying the roll to the wall. She used an old broomstick handle and cardboard. Boy, did that make it easier for me.
When putting ceramic tile on both bathroom walls I would apply the grout and she would be right behind me with a wet sponge removing and cleaning the residue.
We put tongue and groove cedar herringbone shape on the living room wall. While I was putting boards on the wall, she was busy matching patterns of the next boards to be used.
This is only a few examples of our togetherness and why I miss her so very much. Some day we will be together again forever.

My treasure, my love, my wife , my life.
Since I like to eat, I was so fortunate to find a treasure of a cook.
She began cooking, at home, when she was only 12 years old. Reasons not being revealed now. As she grew into womanhood her cooking talents became apparent. Whenever she found a recipe she liked she would modify and improve on it, making it her own. Whenever there was a neighborhood event, ie; House warming, it was always asked “ is Ann Bryce coming “? If so, have her make such and such dish.
As Christmas time approached, all the people that I worked with, started with “when are we getting your wife’s cookies “?
Her delicious meals are only one of the many things I miss so very much and I long to be with her, again, forever.

My sweetheart, my treasure
A very creative person that shared her talent with anyone that was interested.
As a Girl Scout leader she taught her girls many things that would stay with them as they became adults.
She had a log cabin doll house, hand made by her grandfather. She furnished it with her creations. A bear rug she made from a fur stole she got at a garage sale, toothpicks for teeth, etc. a chandelier from crystal beads, - - - even a fly swatter
She made the Three Wise Men from old sheets using a sugar water to stiffen their bodies. Made large Easter egg balloons and wrapping them with colorful embroidery thread, again, using the sugared water and deflating the balloons after the thread had dried. This is only a fraction of her creativity. The list could go on.
I miss everything about her and long so to be with her again forever.

Delighting and Devoted
Enchanting and Effervescent
Faithful and Funny
Gentle and Gracious
Honest and Heavenly
Impartial and Impassioned
Joyful and Jubilant
Kind hearted and knowledgeable
Lively and Lovable
Mentor and Mediator
Nurturing and Nobel
Obliging and Outgoing
Passionate and Pacifying
Quick Witted and Quality
Reliable and Radiant
Saintly and Scrumptious
Thrifty and Tenderhearted
Unselfish and Undeterred

The question remains, Why did she have to suffer like that???
Now you know the reason that I miss her so and long to be with her again forever.

Merry Christmas my Angel in heaven who watches over me as she did for 65 years while raising a loving family
She made every Christmas season so special. Not only did she maintain the household in a very clean and neat environment, but did all the of the house decorations as well as the scene under the tree. She, with the children’s help, made all of the tree ornaments. All this with a cheerful continance.
Needless to say, I will have a very Blue Christmas without her. My Treasure, my Wife, my Life.
I miss her so and long to be with her again forever.

69 years ago,on this date, four young ladies came in. Then, as now, I couldn’t tell you much about the other three, except one was a blond. There was this striking young lass with bright and sparkling brown eyes and dark brown hair. Every hair being neatly in place. She was wearing a full length black coat and black high heel shoes. No wonder I was smitten by this attractive young lady. This was the beginning of the most wonderful years of my life. The rest is a wonderful history of life with my treasure. And, as the song goes, “It turned out so right for strangers in the night “. I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

My Treasure
My treasure, Ann, loved children and they loved her. There was a certain magnetism and trust between them.
For example- - We had gone to visit a friend we hadn’t seen in quite awhile. Her very young grandson we had never seen was there. As soon as we met him he went over and up on Ann’s lap he got. His grandmother said “ How in the world did you get him to do that, I can’t get him to come sit on my lap” ?
Whenever we would attend a school function requiring quietness and there were parents with young children attending, should there be one that was tired and making noise, Ann would take a clean hanky from her purse, fashion a finger puppet and amuse the child. She would always let the child keep the puppet. Ann always had a lot of hankies .
I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

So many times
We wish for what we can’t have
Only to lose sight of what is in front of us
So many times
We need to realize that we have all we need

I never knew anyone who disliked her or maybe I should say, anyone who knew her loved her.
She brought joy to everyone around her.
She is the picture of compassion and kindness and always could make me smile when I was down
She made me feel more loved than I could have imagined.
She had a zest for life and loved all things of nature.
I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

My treasure
She was very frugal and was known to say “ I never pay full price for anything “ and “I don’t believe in making someone else rich”. Some might call it being cheap. But, she was never cheap when it came to her love and caring for others. She always gave that freely and she enriched the lives of all that knew her. I miss her so very much and long to be with her again forever.

You might ask who is Ann Marie Bryce
An unselfish, loving, wife and mother who gives of herself. Who provided a harmonious home for her family. A caregiver, putting others before herself. One who friends and neighbors turn to in times of need. A mentor to several relatives. The mediator between siblings and between parents and siblings. One who shared her creativity with children of all ages. The life partner that encouraged and supported her husband in all endeavors. Lastly my treasure and loving Angel above.

Previously I related what a treasure we have in Ann. Now I will try to convey some of the strife she endured and rose above.
As a child she witnessed frequent fights between her parents, sometimes physical. Then at age 21, as a first time mother, her infant son suffered with Tachycardia ( heartbeat races up to 360 beats per minute). For an infant it was only the30th case in medical history at the time. The procedure to bring it to normalcy is gagging or putting pressure on a nerve near his eye. Trauma for both. She was advised not to have any more children. Ann always wanted to have six. With her second and following pregnancies she had to have hormone shots, often twice a week, in the rump causing big lumps and painful. Also being told to stay off of her feet to reduce the risk of hemorrhage. At 23 she had her first miscarriage. From the age of 23 to 24 she suffered abdominal pain until she had exploratory surgery resulting in an appendectomy. Gangrene had set in. They also removed an orange sized cyst around her left Fallopian tube instead of an hysterectomy because she was determined to have more children. At 26 she suffered her second miscarriage. Her third child at 27 was a difficult one as he was delivered breach. At the age of 30 she had her fourth child and reluctantly agreed to have a tubal ligation which ended her desire to have six. Since she always scarred wide the doctor decided to go through scar tissue and use clamps, thereby reducing scar line size. In 1969 we moved into a new, unfinished interior, home with two sick children. No phone and no pediatrician. In 1992 she underwent a complete hysterectomy. In 2016 she had her gall bladder removed. Not laposcopic as it was imbedded in her liver and left an18” scar. From1965 to 1993. Ed frequently, due to his work security classification, ,had to be away from home without the her knowing where he was or what he was doing, she had to take care of the family amid this uncertainty and anxiety, sometimes for a week at a time. It’s not all that she endured, but, hopefully, this will provide you with a more complete picture of the treasure that we have. I miss her so very much and continue to want to be w her agai forever.

Christmas,we believe, is for children so ours was always spent Christmas Day at home-even into their late teens. Any visiting would be done after Christmas. Friends and family could, and often did, come here on Christmas Day.
Ann, being very creative, together with our children made most of our Christmas tree ornaments and decorations for many years.
She also is the best cook and baker ever. Always baking dozens of cookies for the holidays. She sent me to work with dozens and dozens of her cookies to share with my coworkers.

My beloved wife lived her life as the Almighty had wanted even though she didn’t belong to any established religion. She has read much of the Bible and knew many of Its passages. She never broke any of the 10 commandments and believed in going directly to God, she didn’t need an intermediary. Also allowing her children to follow a course of religion of their choosing.
Though she wasn’t of the Mormon faith, she read the Book of Mormon completely because I had been Baptized as a Mormon.
It’s my belief, in all senses, she was following God’s desire for a good and deserving person.
I miss her so much and long to be with her again forever.

66 years ago I never realized what happiness two little words would bring me.
The contentment or the deep love bond that would come from those two little words.
They brought me a wife that shared my every waking moments and a forever partner, friend and lover because of those two little words. “I DO, I DO”.
And I do miss her so very much.

A good life is having a good wife that you do everything with.
Hobbies, Garaging,
Shopping—yes Shopping,
Laundry, Home Improvement,
Laughing, Crying, Loving.
A WONDERFUL life was sharing 66 plus years with my beloved wife ANN.
Life without her isn’t life. I miss her so very much.

It is said that giving of oneself is a virtue. Then, surely Ann is a very virtuous person.
The following is only a fraction of what she gave during her lifetime.
When she was 11 and 12 years old she fixed meals, bathed and put two of her nephews (5 and 6 years old) to bed. In the summer at the New Jersey shore she did the same for the same nephews until she was 14.
1958/59 she took in another nephew and saw him through his third grade school year. During the same period brought to her home a niece for a week in the summer, showing her a calmer way of life. Later, the niece told Ann that she was her mentor changing her life.
1967/68 she took in her Father for two years, after her parents had separated.
1972/73 Ann took in my niece and her husband for approximately two months while they tried to find living quarters due to his being transferred, by the Navy to Lakehurst Naval Station.
A teenage Jewish friend of our son stayed overnight one Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then later converted to Christianity because of what he observed in Ann’s home.
1982/83 took care of her Mother in failing health along with her pain in the butt Poodle.
1985 Ann began taking care of her oldest grandson during the day while his Mother worked. This was a period of approximately 6 years. In 1991 they both moved in with us for a year.
Ann was a Girl Scout leader and district chairwoman, etc. she also cooked and cleaned for friends in the neighborhood when they were ill or had a death in the family. All while raising her family of four.
Ann was an eternal care giver, the most unselfish person I have ever known.
I miss her so very much. Life isn’t life without her.

I cherished Ann when first we met.
Do I cherish her still, you bet.
She suffered so greatly for the last two years.
And yet,it was she that cleared away our tears.
Tho she is now my guardian Angel from above.
She is still my only true love.
She wasn’t just a truly wonderful wife.
But,was and is totally my life.
I miss her so much.

What if?
You were to have a wife that is the most unselfish woman you have ever met. Who puts others before her self. One who is the most caring, the most giving of oneself. One who is the best Mother, the best cook and baker, the best go-fer on all your projects.
What if?
She is the most trusting, supportive, loving and passionate wife. A person that always keeps a bright outlook on all she does.
Then you have a wife that is nearing the woman that I have enjoyed calling my wife for over 65 years. My beloved wife Ann. I miss her so very much.

Mom, wishing you were here today to help celebrate Dad’s 89th birthday. We both miss you and remember all of the great birthday celebrations you gave us. You always made all of us feel special on our birthdays. I took care of Dad by getting him Olive Garden for dinner. Doesn’t compare to the favorite meals you used to cook on our birthdays, but we were both stuffed afterwards. Your “chubby little baby boy” is sending all of his love to you in heaven. ❤️❤️❤️

Many years ago she caused my heart to take wing.
Especially when she accepted my wedding ring.
They said it wouldn’t last, it was only a fling.
But, it lasted and to her I would always cling.
Someday we will be together again forever causing my heart to sing.
For she was and always will be my everything. My beloved Ann.

I still remember seeing the joy in your face the first time you held Michael. You were so thrilled to be a Grandmother. Thanks for all you did for Michael while he was growing up. My beloved wife Ann, she was and is my life, till we are together again forever. She suffered so greatly for over a year and yet she was always concerned about others. She couldn’t even swallow puréed food but never failed to tell me “go have something to eat”. If I was out of sight and she couldn’t hear me, she would call and ask if I was alright. Whenever one of the children would leave her to return home she insisted they call to let us know they were home safe. When I was feeling down and sometimes in tears it was my beloved Ann who comforted me, talking to me ever so calmly. Yes, we did cry together frequently, but it was she my beloved wife, that always pulled us back.

For mom:
Black was my color
Early in my years
No real reason
Just to hide my fears
Purple became my color
Opening up to my world
Not knowing
Things so unsure
White is my color
Comfortable in my world
No more insecurities
Because you
Nurtured
Guided
Reassured
Shared
Your Colors
With me
Black is back
Only for awhile
To help me through
My tears
Because you will eternally be
Nurturing
Guiding
Reassuring
Sharing
Your Colors
In me

My grandma is the most amazing lady I have ever met. She was the definition of a grandmother kind, selfless, and loving. When my brothers and I would sleep over she would make breakfast but made a feast pancakes, eggs, waffles, bacon, and sausage. She made strawberry walnut pancakes and to this day they are my absolute favorite. She was always so proud of her grandkids, every where I went I was always introduced as this is my granddaughter to everyone. I always loved her stories, hearing about her childhood, my mom, aunts and uncles or even the fictional peanut and booger. No visit from grandma was ever complete if we didn’t hear a story. I’ll cherish the memories forever and shes always in my heart, but without a doubt she is the best grandma anyone could ever ask for.

There’s is not a single person in this world that is prouder to call you “Mom”. I will miss our special talks, your laughter, your expressions, but most of all the beautiful soul that you are. I will do my best to do as you asked; take care of Dad, your daughter Cindy, and our children. You’ve taught me so much in the last 34 years. Helped me grow into the man and father I am today and for that I will forever be thankful.

The definition of selfless, compassion, devotion, caring, giving, trust, passion and love is my wonderful wife of 65 years. We did everything, everything together with only two arguments in those 65 years due to her strength and patience.
She was the rock of our family even though she suffered greatly throughout her illness. We could all learn a lot from her love of caring about others. My love for her is never ending. She was and is my life until we are together again.

I lost the most important woman of my life. She showed me the true meaning of love. Her journey was not easy but she made mine complete. There isn’t a more kinder, gentler, unselfish, loving, compassionate soul on this earth. She is my best friend, my go to for everything and anything, and my person. This past year was not easy but I can honestly say I don’t regret one minute of the time I was able to spend and give to her. There is absolutely nothing in this world that I wouldn’t do for her. Now that her journey is over, it has not ended. For she is in every breath I take, each child I gave birth to and the fabric of my being. Nothing will ever take that away. She is love.

My most favorite memories of Mrs. Bryce were when Janet and I were teenagers. The Bryces had a juke box in their basement. Janet and I and our friends would be down the basement dancing and singing. The Bryces had the cool house cause of that juke box! No one else I knew had a juke box in their basement!! Rest In Peace, Mrs. Bryce. You will be missed.
