Jack, was a great friend and neighbor, and his passing is a loss to so many beyond his family. His quiet, remarkable strength, and his warm cheerfulness marked everything he did: supporting and raising a wonderful family; years of coaching and volunteering; keeping in touch with lifelong friends; and lovingly supporting and caring for Donna to the end of her days. For a guy who loved to tell stories, Jack rarely spoke of his own Army service in Vietnam, or of his long arduous recovery at Valley Forge Army Hospital. Jack would rather talk about his children's accomplishments and his beloved grand kids. Oh, he did have some good golfing stories, including how he volunteered to teach blind folks how to golf. Those who knew Jack don't need stories to know that Jack's name will always mean lived Courage. Rest in Peace. Frank and Eileen Heron

I recently became reacquainted with Jack when my cousin Donna passed away. Jack was the greatest story teller and had such a great sense of humor. I will miss him dearly. I loved listening to his stories, he had some great ones! He also enjoyed telling me about Andrea, John, Shannon & Bryan, he was so proud of them and his grandchildren. We spoke a few months ago and made plans to meet with our boys in Fishtown for dinner, I was looking forward to that and playing more golf with him. My heart goes out to you, Andrea, John, Shannon, Bryan & extended family. Jack was a very loving, kind, considerate man who was loved by so many. ❤️ My deepest sympathy, Rita Keegan

To Andrea, John , Bryan , Shannon and the extended family , i have to many thoughts right now to squeeze into this memo but right now i just wanted to say how much you're Mom and Dad were loved and how much you all were too. Donna and Jack and all you guys were always an exceptional family in love and Dedication . i'm honored to have known your family and very pleased that my family got to know you all also.

I still remember the first time we met Jackie at Grandmom and Grandpop Spause’s house. He was so cool and turned Grandmom’s dining room table into a table top football field. What fun! After he married Donna, he was so gracious and inviting to our family and hosted plenty of Christmases at Aunt Margaret’s old house! So sad for all of the Ghee family. Happy that he and Donna are together. Loving man and I have the fondest memories. Regina Spause McGraw
