Dear Jane and Family>
Caroline and I wanted to send our sincere sympathies on the passing your Husband and Father Jack.. Jack made me fell very good when I played golf with him when we1st joined Manufacturers in 1971. He was a fun guy to be with and later on I played with and against him in team matches and tournaments and win or lose he was most gracious, an excellent sportsman..
I remember watching Jack play against Uncle Ray Jenkins for the club championship and his steady play on 15, 16, 17, and 18 that gave him a legup going into the final 18 holes. And oh Yes those Long tees that started making appearances as he got older, special memory of them i the Presidents Invitational
\we also Thank you Jane for helping Caroline and me feel welcome as younge members of club, and as we grew up we remember Jack;s Dad and Mother, and how well your children grew up with Jack as their father... A nice and classy family legacy...

So sorry to hear of his passing. I have fond memories of both Jack & Jane stemming all the way back to when I was in high school and cut their lawn during the summer time! It was challenging cutting the hill on their front lawn!
As my sister Barb mentioned, I know our parents loved spending time with both Jack & Jane. I'm sure they are having a great reunion in heaven. What a great reassurance we have that because of Jesus Christ, death no longer has the final say, but is only a transition from this life to the life beyond.
May God give you all comfort and reassurance as you grieve his loss until you see him again.

How sad to see this generation of great men and women pass one by one. I still remember how much my parents who are no longer present, loved their bible study evenings with Mr. and Mrs. Easton and so many others from Supplee. Mr. Easton was an extremely knowledgable man with a great sense of humor as I recall and his wife always made her hospitality inviting no matter what the occasion or time.
He will be sorely missed but I have no doubt that he is enjoying his time with the Savior along with my parents. May your memories lighten your load and may Christ give you all the strength to live as Mr. Easton would prefer, life to the fullest until we are gathered all together once again. Barb Okamoto

I was so sorry to read of Jack’s passing in the Sunday Inquirer today and reading the memorial on this site brought back many “fantastic” memories of Jack. Jack played a very significant role in my life when he interviewed me to identify what area would be the best fit for me at Provident National Bank. During that conversation and any time I met him thereafter I was always impressed by Jack’s energy level and enthusiasm. Jack felt that I would be a good match for the Treasury Management Product Management group which led to additional interviews and a job offer which resulted in an evolving career at PNC of greater than 28 years and a transition to the Bank of New York Mellon as the PNC subsidiary I worked for was divested to BNY. I have just recently retired and am so thankful to have known Jack and grateful for his connection to my uncle, Wakelee Swartz, who requested my initial networking meeting with Jack.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jack. I love the picture that was posted of Jack, he had that contagious smile that you had to love. I have so many fond memories of Jack, trips with Jack to the Phillies game (tailgating with Jack). Pizza pineapple lunches after he and Jane returned from Hawaii; just so many fun memories. Jack will always have a special place in my heart. Deb Hewitt Pierce
