Obituary of Anna Mae Heger

AnnaMae Heger, age 94, a resident of the Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, PA died on January 11, 2023. She previously resided in Willow Grove, PA, North Hills, PA and Abington, PA. She was the devoted wife of the late John C. Heger.
Born in Philadelphia, Ann was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Kulp Tyler and the late Walter Tyler and the sister of the late Margaret Wieland.
She graduated from Abington High School in 1946 and later studied at Taylor Business School.
She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. In 1988, Ann retired, after 16 years of employment, as an Accountant for The Abington Campus of Pennsylvania State University. She was previously employed by Abington Township School District.
She was an active member of Abington Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years. During her time there, she was a member of the Circle and Junior and Senior Fellowship Committees. Additionally, she helped with the Girl Scouts and would deliver flowers to the sick members of the church.
She enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, baking, knitting and sewing.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses: Susan H. and Ronald Miller, John T. and Debbie Heger and Richard A. and Susan Heger; grandchildren: Jason E. Miller, Jessica R. and Ed Elia and Jeffrey D. Heger.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023, Abington Presbyterian Church, Old York and Susquehanna Roads, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment in the Memorial Garden of Abington Presbyterian Church will be held privately.
