Obituary of Patricia A. Snyder

Patricia A. "Pat" Snyder, age 85, a resident of Ardsley, PA for over 60 years, died on May 28, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late Maurice A. Snyder for 60 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Louis Frederick Beck and the late Eleanor Harriet Seebauer. After graduating from Frankford High School, Pat attended secretarial school. Pat was employed as a medical transcriptionist at Orthopedic Specialty Center, from where she retired after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Queen of Peace Church in Ardsley, PA for over 60 years. Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed being the family photographer, playing cards, Scrabble, slots at the casino, but most of all, loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses; Maurice A., Jr. and Beth Snyder, Stephen L. and Lynn Snyder, and Diane M. and Paul McKenzie, nine grandchildren, Katie, Meghan, Matthew, Nicholas, Andrew, Shannon, Connor, Emelia and Hope, and six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Nora, Greyson, Abigail, Kinsley and Brody. An additional great-grandchild is on the way, due in August, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA, where friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn: Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.
