Obituary of Anne-Marie Shaw

Anne-Marie Shaw, 86, a six year resident of Christ's Home in Warminster, and formerly of Horsham, passed away on February 11, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert H. Shaw, Sr. for 61 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George Hubert, Jr. and the late Anna Magdelina Dittrich. She graduated from Olney High School in 1953 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in 1956. Anne-Marie was employed as a school teacher in the Hatboro-Horsham and North Penn School Districts until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Anne-Marie enjoyed sewing and gardening. She is survived by her son, Robert Hugh Shaw, Jr., four grandchildren, Robert Stasiunas, Kaitlyn Shaw, Matthew Shaw and Rachel Shaw, and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Stasiunas, Jameson Stasiunas and Waverlee Shaw. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maryanne Kipe. Services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1500 Old York Road, Abington, at 11:00 AM, where friends will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 13770 Noel Road, Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380 (www.komen.org)
