Stanley Austin Rose, Jr., age 91, of Ft. Washington died on June 6, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Shirley E. (nee Canary) Rose and the late Lorraine (nee Bauersfeld) Rose. He is also survived by his loving children and their spouses; Priscilla Rose, Jeffrey and Rita Rose, Melissa and Steven Gergel, David Laskey, Deborah and James Stewart and by six grandchildren. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, June 10, 2010 from 1:00 - 1:30 PM, Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, June 10, 2011, Auditorium of Ft. Washington Estates, 735 Susquehanna Road, Ft. Washington, where friends will be received after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Sacandaga Bible Conference, P.O. Box 247, Broadalbin, NY 12025.
