Obituary of Iris Innes

Betty Iris Innes, age 89, of Huntingdon Valley died on March 2, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Edward D. Innes for nearly 70 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William Wohlgemuth and the late Elizabeth Weir Wohlgemuth. Iris graduated from Abington High School in 1950 and went on to study at the College of Marin and Tyler School of Art.
Iris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and working as an artist and art therapist.
She is survived by her loving children; Scott D. Innes of Huntingdon Valley, PA and Carin B. Kocher of Virginia Beach,VA; and by one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Innes.
Services will be held privately.
