Rosa Specca Cochran, age 89, a resident of Southampton Estates, and previously of Gwynedd Estates and Jenkintown, died on March 2, 2020. She was the devoted wife of the late William C. Cochran, M.D. for 56 years. Born in Philadelphia, Rose was the daughter of the late Romeo Specca and the late Teresa Puglia Specca. She was a graduate of Frankford High School and the University of Pennsylvania, from where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Prior to becoming a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother, Rose was a nurse at Abington Hospital. Rose was a member of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Glenside. She is survived by her children, Roland and Jennifer Cochran of Leonardtown, MD and Sally and Paul Marshall of Flanders, NJ, by her four grandchildren, Isabel, Sara, Hannah and Will and by her sister, Josephine Edwards. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Specca. The memorial service that was scheduled for March 21, 2020 has been cancelled. Services will be rescheduled.
