Although Fred was my Financial Advisor in Quakertown our relationship grew to one of deep friendship. I just loved our times of lunch or just shooting to crap about cars and skiing or market events. My heart and sympathies go out to both a Judy and Zoe. I know how much I'm saddened by the news of his passing I can't conceive the emptiness felt by those who were much closer. May the joys of a the season and the knowledge of all who Fred touched brighten your day during this time of loss.

Freddie was one of my late husband, Glenn Madison's, best childhood friends. They were in school and Boy Scouts together in Abington, where they grew up. I met Freddie when he and Glenn re-kindled their friendship about 15 years ago, as adults. From the moment I met him, Fred was a warm friend who cared about us and our children, had interests in every field, and was a warm-hearted friend through some very hard times. When my husband died, Judi and Fred reached out to me on many occasions, and invited us to their home and to weekend dinners and outings. We enjoyed getting to know Zoe, admiring the family's athleticism, as well as their academic zeal. We heard uproarious tales of the family Olympic Games, which were a source of joy for Freddie. Fred was inspiring to me and the girls, even when he was diagnosed with cancer. His unquenchable good spirit was a strong inspiration to me and to my family. I will miss his enthusiastic conversation and his curiosity, and his generous philosophy of life.
