SHIRLEY ELIZABETH (CANARY ) LASKEY ROSE, a wonderful woman of faith, went to her Heavenly Home on September 10, 2016 at age 92.
Beloved daughter of Clayton James and Estella Z. (Miller) Canary. Devoted wife of the late Stanley Austin Rose Jr. and the late Willis Cecil Laskey. Beloved mother of David Charles Laskey and Deborah (Stevens) Stewart (James), Priscilla C. Rose, Jeffrey A. Rose (Rita), and Melissa J. (Rose) Gergel (Steven). Survived by brothers Donald Canary and Kenneth Canary (Phyllis) and sister Marilyn Ottendorf (Doug). Predeceased by siblings: Merrill, Warren, Eileen and Arlene. Survived by 6 grandchildren: Lauren, Allysa, and Seth Rose and Brett Elizabeth, James Whitney Jr. and Matthew David Stevens; and four great grandchildren – Eric, Wyatt, Thaddeus, and Kieran.
Friends and relatives are invited to her Graveside Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 am onThursday, September 15, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, Pennsylvania. Memorials may be sent to Sacandaga Bible Conference , Lakeview Road, Broadalbin, New York, 12078 .
