Obituary of David Rex Whitten

David Rex Whitten, age 91, formerly of Meadowbrook, PA and Stone Harbor, NJ died on September 10, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Miriam Taylor Whitten, by his devoted children and their spouses: David S. Whitten, Tom and Carol Whitten, Mimi and Stanley Humpton and Susan and Kerry Conners and by eleven loving grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Road, Abington where friends will be received after the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate donations in Dave's memory to: Nature Conservancy, Wings of the Americas, 4245 N. Fairfax Dr., Ste. 100, Arlington, VA 22203-1606.
