E. JOHN EPP, SR. "Jack", age 90, a resident of Normandy Farms Estates for 15 years, died on April 11, 2013. He was the devoted husband to the late Marilyn Mohr Epp. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Bruno and Millicent Epp. After graduating high school in 1938, Jack served in the Army as a Sergeant in the South Pacific from 1940-1943, receiving a Bronze Star as well as two Purple Hearts. Jack attended Albright University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 1946. He worked in Sales/Marketing for FMC Corporation and Artex, from which he retired after thirty years of service in 1984. Jack was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, playing bridge and astronomy. He is survived by his son E. John Epp of Radnor, PA. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 11 a.m in the Auditorium of Normandy Farms Estates, 9000 Twin Silo Drive, Blue Bell, PA, where friends will be received from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777.
