Obituary of Jane Mulholland Mager

Jane Mulholland Mager, age 89, a resident of the Masonic Village in Warminster and formerly of Hatboro and Norristown died on June 22, 2012. She was the devoted wife of the late Harry J. Mager until his death in 2004. Born in Perry County, PA, she was the daughter of the late William York Mulholland and the late Florence Farrow Mulholland. She graduated from Lankenau High School in 1940 and later attended Pierce Business School. In addition to working as a legal secretary, Jane had managed a hotel at the New Jersey shore. She had volunteered as a teacher's aide at the Shriners Hospital for Children and had volunteered in the gift shop at the Masonic Village. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Harmony Chapter #4 in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to writing poetry, she enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and knitting. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands; Gailmarie and Bud Wehmeyer and Patricia Ann and Billy Dunham; by her granddaughters and their husbands; Kristie and Phil, Laura and Jeff, and Amber and Josh, and by her great-grandchildren; Jacob, Kaitlyn and James. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2012, Lehman Memorial Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, where friends will be received from 12 noon until the time of the service. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1310 Punahou St., Honolulu, HI 96826 or to Masonic Village - Resident Treat Fund, 850 Norristown Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
