Obituary of Mary Anne McMillan

Mary Anne Crabtree McMillan, 93, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at her home at Rydal Park, Jenkintown, PA.

She was born March 11, 1933 in Wellsburg, WV, the daughter of the late Edwin A. and Katheryn Crabtree. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles E. McMillan on August 24, 2016.

She graduated from Wellsburg High School in 1951 and then from West Liberty College in 1955. She and Charles were married in August that year and she taught elementary school in Princeton, NJ for the next three years.

Mary Anne travelled the country and the world with her husband and children as a minister and army chaplain's wife before living sixteen years in Vienna, VA and the last 26 years in Dresher and Jenkintown, PA. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, baking, needle working, travelling, visiting family and friends, and volunteering on resident committees at Rydal Park. She was a member of Abington Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by three children: Marla K. McMillan and her husband Kelly Jensen, David J. McMillan and Charles "Chuck" A. McMillan; grandchildren and their spouses: Kelsey K. and Zach Friedman, Logan L. and Julian Son, Matthew M. Graham, Jonathan M. and Tracy Jensen and Hannah E. Jensen; great-grandchildren: Miles Friedman, Theo Friedman, Chloe Son and Cooper Son.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Meditation Room at Rydal Park, 1515 The Fairway, Rydal, PA, with visitation with the family at from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
