Obituary of Jackie Bond
Jacquelyn Kearney Bond, affectionately known as Jackie, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 74, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 1, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late John P. Kearney and Esther (Labow) Kearney. She was a proud graduate of Abington High School, Class of 1969, and continued her education, earning a degree at Centenary College. After graduation, she worked for Stagliano Real Estate in Cheltenham, PA, and later for the Charles Bond Company.
Jackie devoted her life to her family, serving as a homemaker who lived in Abington, Oreland, Dresher, and Dover, before recently residing in Warminster at Ann's Choice. She was the dedicated and loving wife of Charles Carter Bond III ("Buzz"), with whom she shared over 53 wonderful years of marriage since their wedding on October 20, 1972. Jackie was a proud and loving mother to David Carter Bond (Nicole) of Levittown, PA; Stacy Bond Young (Ryan) of Chalfont, PA; and Jonathan Brian Bond (Angela Sindaco) of Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was the cherished grandmother, endearingly known as Nana, to Carter, Graham, Reid, Braydon, Shane, and Bryce, who were the light of her life and brought her endless pride and joy. Jackie is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Stephanie "Stevie" Bond, and her brother-in-law, Mark Bond.
Jackie found her greatest happiness in the simple but meaningful moments spent with those she loved. She especially treasured attending her grandson's sporting events, lake vacations with the family, going to concerts with her beloved husband, Buzz, and spending nights out with her cherished friends. She grew up spending summers in Wildwood, New Jersey, where she developed a lifelong love of the beach. Jackie also adored her time at Panther Lake in the Pocono Mountains, where she enjoyed being with both family and friends.
Jackie will be remembered for her deep love of family, her kindness, her incredible sense of humor, and her beautiful smile. She was truly the life of every gathering and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and joy, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, Chapel of Ann's Choice, 30000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, where relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A celebration of life will follow, and a luncheon will be held afterward to continue honoring Jackie's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Penn State THON, which is dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer and working towards a cure. Buzz & Jackie have faithfully supported THON for decades and it brings their family great pride that their grandson now carries on this tradition by participating in THON at Penn State University. https://donate.thon.org/general-donations/donate Donations by mail to: Penn State THON, 227D HUB, University Park, PA 16802
