Earl Stanley Vollmer, Jr. age 89, a resident of Spring House Estates in Lower Gwynedd, PA died on February 1, 2026. He previously resided in Rydal, PA, Manahawkin, NJ and Maple Glen, PA. He was the devoted husband of Suzanne Harrison Vollmer for 60 years until her death in 2020.

Earl was born in Abington, PA on June 21, 1936, and was the son of the late Dr. Earl Stanley Vollmer, Sr. and the late Eleanor Kent Hesselton Vollmer. He graduated from William Penn Charter School in 1955 and then went on to study at The University of Pennsylvania and Muhlenberg College. He proudly served with the US ARMY from 1961-1965. Earl retired as the General Manager of Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA where he worked for over 30 years. In earlier years, he worked for The Coach Inn and Stouffers.

Earl was passionate about singing and was a member of The Orpheus Club of Philadelphia for over fifty years singing in December at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia where the concert was dedicated to him. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Society of the Sons of the Revolution and The Society of the War of 1812. Earl and Suzanne shared many passions during their marriage including travelling, gardening, and updating his childhood home in Rydal. They also raised and showed Irish Setters. One of Earl's greatest joys was talking, and he told endless stories to anyone that would listen.

Earl is survived by his children and their spouses: Vivica and Emil Albanese, Eleanor Kay and Steve Hart and Fletcher and Judy Vollmer. He also is survived by his grandchildren: Thomas Albanese, William Albanese, Lily Hart, Vaughn Hart, Emma Vollmer and Alex Vollmer and by his sister Valerie Berlinger.
