Obituary of Walter Robinson Gearhart III

Walter Robinson Gearhart, III, a resident of Dresher, PA died on November 22, 2025. He was 73.
Born in Abington, PA Rob was the son of the late Walter Robinson Gearhart, Jr. and the late Gwendolyn Martin Gearhart.
Rob graduated from Abington High School and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree from University of Delaware. A gifted athlete, Rob played football and lacrosse in high school and college.
For many years, he worked as an arborist for Gearhart Tree Service and while living in Florida he worked for Delta Dental.
He was a former member of Abington Presbyterian Church.
Rob is survived by his children; Gregory Gearhart, Lauren Gearhart Chamberlain and Tyler Gearhart; by his siblings and their spouses: Donna Gearhart Rogers, Jeffrey and Kari Gearhart and Wendy G. and Robert Pietrucha. Additionally, he is survived by his former wife, Marjorie Gearhart.
He was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed collecting coins and stamps.
Funeral service will be held privately.
