Q: What will you miss most about Julie?
A: I will miss Julie in so many ways.
We had talked about making plans to do some traveling together.
We never got further than that though because we usually got too silly and ended up sidetracked and found something to giggle about!
I loved to tease her about her making her bed everyday which she normally didn’t do because she also considered it her office as well as her bed! I would occasionally get a picture from her showing me she had made it that day lol I didn’t really care if she ever made her bed but we always had good laughs from teasing each other about it. ( you would have to have been there )
Julie was my employer , my dear friend, my therapist at times, my Uber driver, and my entertainment during one of our outings!
We could have so much fun doing nothing together!
I am so blessed to have known her for the few years I did.

We were neighbors, friends, and fun loving companions. I will miss her outpouring of kindness to my husband and myself.
Her smile and joyful attitude was contagious. Our rides to and from doctor’s appointments and the airport were always full of chatter and sharing of our lives. I will miss her so much and my prayers are with her beautiful family.

Julie worked with me in the Tutorial Lab at Delaware County Community College where she tutored students who enjoyed her positive and often humorous ways of teaching. Her favorite sessions were with foreign students learning English.

Our 53-yr friendship had the uncanny ability to zero in on our strength and weaknesses. Julie knew the spirit of our “sisterhood” was steeped in the mutual understanding that motherhood offered us growth we never expected. Our self-respect was challenged, but at our core, our children redefined our extension of love. Julie’s humor, kindness, thoughtfulness, and joy of life, modeled a spirit that all who knew her loved. She will be thought of often and truly missed.

I was very surprised to hear of Juliie's passing and very sorry for her loss. She was so, so proud of her grandchildren, she was always so kind and had a great sense of humor. I met Julie when she was looking for a condo here in Franklin and we got to talking & I found out her birthday was the same as my Mom's. I encouraged Julie to keep looking in Franklin Village & I'm glad she did, but I am truly sorry she passed so unexpectedly.

I lived in Philly for a year with Julie, her 3 girls and her three really obnoxious cats.
The kitchen table had 2 built in benches. The cats were not allowed on the benches.
So, I came home for lunch for 3 weeks. I put kitty food on the edge of the table and trained the cats to sit on the bench and eat. For weeks afterward every time food was put on the table the cats would line up on the bench. Julie would yell and swat those 3 obnoxious cats onto the floor. And I would smile.
That was 40 years ago and I never told her it was me
But I know she would have laughed before she yelled and swatted me.
I will miss you in my life Julie Jean.

Julie waa a dear friend from my time in Wayne, pa Our girls were in activities together at school and i remember one time our oldest two were at a party. Julie and I were the only two mothers sitting outside, and together we hauled our daughters out when we saw a kid going in with bags of beer!
We had many laughs together as we navigated their teenage years. So sad!
