I played against Coach Flynn in H.S., played with Don Flynn on the Quaker’s, and last chatted with Coach Flynn when I stopped by to see him during a practice session at Textile / Philly U. some years ago. I have met and known fine gentlemen over the years, but none finer than Mr. Flynn! Bob Smith

My heart filled prayers and condolences to Don's family. He will always be a mentor and friend to me. At Temple and though the summers with Pen Del, Donnie was always there. Peace be with you my old friend. God Bless.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Don. Although I did not play on his Temple team but came after Don had graduated, I competed against Don in the Pen-Del league when he played for Jenkintown and I played for Magnolia Bridsburg. He was an intense pitcher and competitor. Ted Frett
