Horace was a friend. He was well respected by all the USMC pilots in VMF-511 and VMA-131 at Marine Air Group 43/49 Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Not only was he our Flight Surgeon but he flew with us and celebrated with us. Harace, in spite of his accomplishments was just a regular gentleman.
